The Development Story
NX3 was born from a clear gap in the market — the space between commercially available off-the-shelf drones and full military-grade large platforms. Capable, deployable, and scalable solutions in this middle ground simply didn’t exist. So we built one.
Entirely self-funded and developed in-house at our facility in North Wales, NX3 has gone through three generations of rigorous engineering, each one building on hard lessons learned from the last.
The result is a platform at TRL6 with a clear, evidenced pathway to TRL7 and beyond — not a concept, not a prototype built for a demonstration, but a mature system that has earned its development through genuine engineering discipline.
NX3 is UK sovereign technology, designed, developed, and manufactured in Wales. The IP is clean, the architecture is proven, and the platform is ready for its next chapter. We are moving closer and closer to a 100% UK sovereign supply chain.
The Next Journey
The next stage of the project is three inter-connected work streams.
Entirely self-funded and developed in-house at our facility in North Wales, NX3 has gone through three generations of rigorous engineering, each one building on hard lessons learned from the last.
The outcome will be a production-ready, UK-sovereign dual-use UAS platform validated at TRL7, with a clear commercial deployment pathway and a manufacturing base anchored in the North Wales Freeport zone.
